The Trans+ Sexual Wellbeing Workshops

Are you trans+, curious about the connection between your mental health and your sexual health, and want a space that actually gets you? Our new Trans+ Sexual Wellbeing Workshops are for you.

The Trans+ Sexual Wellbeing Workshops are a safe, affirming, community-led series designed for trans+ people living, working or socialising in Lambeth, Southwark & Lewisham. These aren’t clinical lectures, they aren’t awkward sex ed classes, and they definitely aren’t judgemental. They’re real conversations, real support, and real connection with people who share your lived experiences as a trans+ person.

Why does sexual wellbeing matter?

Sexual wellbeing isn’t just about sex. It’s about how we feel about ourselves, how our bodies feel, how past experiences shape our relationships, and how stigma and dysphoria show up in our sex lives and our daily lives.

This workshop series centres your lived experience, the good, the complicated, and everything in between, and connects mental wellbeing with sexual health in a way that actually makes sense for trans+ lives.

What do the workshops involve?

This is a three-part series of interactive sessions that will cover all aspects of sexual wellbeing.

Each session is 90 minutes to 2 hours, with space built in for honest discussion, lived experience, questions, reflection and connection. There are three different workshops covering different aspects of sexual wellbeing:

  • 1: How does being trans+ impact our sexual health and mental health?
  • 2: Navigating sex and relationships as a trans+ person
  • 3: Trans+ sexual health – safer sex back-to-basics

You can join one, two or all three sessions. Pick the workshops that will most benefit you.

We talk about:

  • How gender identity, dysphoria and stigma impact sexual wellbeing
  • Relationships, consent, boundaries, and what healthy sex looks like for you
  • How hormones, surgery and medical care intersect with sexual health
  • Practical, trans+ inclusive info on testing, PrEP, contraception, and more
  • Community care: how we support one another and build networks that last.

Who are the workshops for?

These workshops are open to trans+ people aged 18+ who live, work or socialise in:

  • Lambeth
  • Southwark
  • Lewisham.

This is a trans+ space: inclusive, affirming, and respectful.

How will the workshops benefit you?

You’ll come away with more than just information.

These workshops are about feeling better, feeling more confident, and feeling less alone; in your body, your relationships, and your community.

By taking part, you can expect:

  • A better understanding of sexual wellbeing and how it links to mental wellbeing for trans+ people
  • More confidence talking about sex, bodies, boundaries and relationships in ways that feel right for you
  • Practical, trans+-inclusive sexual health knowledge you can actually use in real life
  • A safe space to reflect, be yourself and celebrate being trans, without judgement or awkwardness
  • Connection with other trans+ people who get it and share similar experiences
  • Skills and insight you can take with you, whether that’s navigating relationships, advocating for yourself in healthcare settings, or supporting others in your community.

Most importantly, this is a space where you don’t have to explain yourself, you can just show up, take part in the way that feels comfortable, and leave with something that lasts beyond the session.

How to join

Spaces are limited to keep the atmosphere safe and supportive, so make sure to book your place early.

Head to the links below to sign up for one, two, or all three sessions.
You can come as you are - no pressure, no tests, no assumptions.
